Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Classtimer.app (“we”, “us”), operated by Darren Battaglia. By using the service you agree to them.

What the service is

Classtimer.app is a web-based classroom timer and bell schedule tracker. A free tier is available without an account and is supported by advertising. A Premium subscription costs 10 US dollars per year and adds rotating schedules, the pop-out timer, count-up mode, the end-of-period warning, and removes advertising.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access. You must be 18 or older to create an account.

Do not use the service to break the law, to attempt to gain access to other people’s accounts, or to disrupt the service for others.

Subscriptions, renewal, and cancellation

Premium is billed annually in advance. Unless you cancel, it renews automatically each year at the price then in effect. We will tell you before any price change affecting your renewal.

You can cancel at any time from the Manage Subscription link inside the app. There is no phone call and no retention process. When you cancel, your Premium access continues to the end of the year you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.

Refunds

If Classtimer.app is not what you expected, email us within 30 days of your payment and we will refund it in full. After 30 days we do not generally give refunds, because cancelling stops the next charge and you keep what you paid for until it expires. If something has gone genuinely wrong, contact us anyway — we would rather sort it out than have you feel cheated over ten dollars.

Availability

We work to keep the service running, but we do not guarantee it will be available without interruption. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service altogether, we will give account holders reasonable notice and refund the unused portion of any subscription.

Do not rely on Classtimer.app as your only means of tracking timewhere being wrong would cause real harm. It depends on your device, your browser, and your internet connection, any of which can fail. Your school’s actual bell and you are the authorities, not this app.

Your content

Your bell schedules and settings remain yours. We store them to provide the service and do not claim ownership. We use them for nothing else.

Our content

The Classtimer.app name, design, and software belong to us. You may use the service; you may not copy, resell, or redistribute it.

Liability

The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law permits, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law permits.

Ending your access

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, and where we do so without cause we will refund the unused portion of any subscription.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will email account holders before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
